Subject:      toque converter seal question?

Hello, This evening when we installed the white VW toque converter seal bentley said to drive it in until it stopped we argued about what this ment. Drive it in until it stopped meant it went att the way in past being flush with the edge. the seal went way deep in there and it did not look right to me but that is what the book said. Fuck do i have to buy a new seal now and remove this one? Damn thing was 17.00 dollars!! anyhow thanx for reading.

Mr. Ensing : Why did you say that the Govenor needs to be removed when replacing the torque converter. This is the first ive heard of this? Thannk you for all the replies. Raul,
