Subject: Vibrations at 15 degrees too. Also, Tiico / Jon @ Foreign Auto

Regarding David's comment to Alistair: "#### Yes, Allister, this is true, there are no vibrations with a correctly installed TD / TDI when you use my kit." With my 15-degree 1.9 TD, there are engine vibrations and resonance @ around 35-40 MPH. They were present since the day I picked it up, freshly converted by David himself, so we can only assume the install was correct by his standards. Based on my experience, I'd have to disagree with his statement.

Regarding Jon at Foreign Auto / Tiico: Jon certainly wins the prize for this year's longest post, and I can totally see how people would react as they did to what he wrote. FWIW I'd just like to say that he's a good guy - he's worked on my syncro, on my friend's new westy and on his old one. He does good, honest work at a fair price, he has a real passion for what he does, and he definitely knows his stuff. I saw a few of his Tiico conversions at a swap meet / show this summer and they were wicked clean and professional.

Cheers, Doug Fitz-Randolph Freeport, ME '90 Syncro '86 Single Cab TD
