I never got anywhere near the weight limit on the cargo I've carried, but I've had it filled up pretty good. We helped my aunt move from CA to VA . . . well, we had "professional" movers bring her stuff to VA. Problem was, she didn't have a new house before the moving van got here, so we stuffed it all into a storage unit. When it came time to move it all to her new digs, Ye Olde Westy came into play. It's amazing how well those professional moving boxes fit into a Westy. I made several trips where there was barely room for me and things were stacked so high, I couldn't see out the back window. When you're driving a big square box, you can fill it up nicely with big square boxes . . .

PS--Stan, had enough of Vanagon carrying capacity issues? :^)
