Lee, so far as a brand name is concerned get the LLumar brand tint material. Ask for the metal sputtered stuff. It's the best on the market. The metal is a thin layer that provides UV protection for the interior of the vehicle and reduces plastic and upholstery damage by sunlight. Of course it is illegal to tint a windshield.

As for turning purple, your really cheap materials do that. LLumar will not turn purple. It may lose a little color after 7 years, but that is about all.

Another good thing about LLumar. it has a national warranty. If you have a LLumar shop install it, the warranty is good anywhere in the USA at another Llumar shop. That's hard to beat.

My son has owned and operated a Tint shop for 17 years, and he won't use anything else, because time has proven the LLumar product to him. Simple. He has less warranty calls with it, meaning it holds up better over time.

Good luck
