Subject: autoTRANSMISSION rapidly leaking in 90
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hi Listees,

I got the motor back in our 90 GL, (thank you who all who assisted with the broken head stud.) The motor runs great with the rebuilt heads but now the darned transmission is spilling and splashing trans fluid all over the place.

I know very little about transmissions and even less about automatics, but know this has something to do with me removing the engine and neglecting something with the transmission connection... lots of fluid escaped from the trans when the motor was removed..which I had not anticipated. Is there a seal or something I need to renew? I realize I will most likely need to remove the motor again :( to get this resolved.

Any wisdom from the list will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers, Loretta
