This is almost true, Ben. The 84 Wolfy models with no poptop are the exception. These have a Westy bed that is full width. Plywood with foam pads. The base, hinges, and release mechanism are just like the full Westy type only wider. All of these 84 Wolfy Vanagons I have seen have been blue with blue cord interiors. They also came with jailbars on the rear hatch, screens on the sliding windows, and I think most or all had factory sunroofs.
