Im still a little confused as to whats MY Tiico's proper oil level, since my dip stick is hard to read (with translucent, clean oil), and "full" always been way above the cross-hatch marks.....more like up-over the coil thats wrapped around the dipstick. Question: If drain my engine for a half hour then dump exactly 4.73 QUarts of oil in it, i should be OK...right? Last oil change I marked the levels on the dipstick at 2.5 quarts, and another for 4 quarts(for me its 1/8th inch above spring/coil wire) I guess what im asking is how much oil is usually still in the engine after leting it drain for 1/2 hour?....should this amount be subtracted from 4.75 quarts to be added or am i being too anal here? THanks Phil S. 84' Westy Tiico w/1.9L WBXer injectors/FPR __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
