Could this be true?? I am poised to own a nice doublecab and here they are getting butchered??? I know there's already a lot of discussion on this in the archives, but I could never quite get a straight answer on it. To make these Vanagons comply with DOT what would be needed?? Change all the glass and lights?? If that's all, then I should think that it might be possible. Reinforce the door for side impact protection??
