Congratulations Nick, on your "new" Van. Sounds spiffy. I'm no expert on this Nick....but, I did have R134 (new stuff) in my last Westy and it was pretty easy to get a can of and "load" into the system with a pressure gauge attachment. The R12 is not so easy nor is it any longer available to you or me. It's what I have in my current Van and I will have to pay the full load to a dealer to get my system recharged. I'm guessing (don't know at this point) I'll be paying over a $100.00 to maybe 150.00 to have this done.
