YOu can't adjust them while the engine is running, no way. Corvairs, yes,
VWs, no.

Matt,
I think the lifters are in good shape but they get
filled with oil and take time to bleed down. I went
from one turn in to zero lash while doing the
compression test. I am told that if I wait overnight
the lifter will bleed down???? I will keep you
informed on the list. I am going to try to adjust
mine dynamically to see if I can get a turn and a half
into them with the engine running. Seems like a way
to go. gary
