Hello all, I realize this question is for a air cooled 1973 but but we cannot find the answer anywhere and I assume many of us have or have had a earlier bus at one point and may know.

Do the heat exchangers for a 411 - 412 type car fit the type 2?

They are both pancake engines and we often see them spoken of as the same but does anyone know for sure?

Much obliged, Andrea
