I have a rear hatch lock extension that permits the rear hatch to be locked
while propped open an inch or so, allowing great flow-thru ventilation with the
top popped up and the screen zipped open or just the skylight opened. One of the
top three accessories a Westy owner could ever want.

According to Phaedra, the vent mounts very nicely into the existing Westy
