Sorry Stan :) The new fancy laptops are running with 75-85-watt supplies; my Thinkpads (A20M and T23) use 72-watts; an HP 5500ct Omnibook has about a 40-watt supply. This is for computing+charging. The power bricks take in an amp (Omnibook) to 1.5 (IBM), but they have a high power factor -- the wattage consumed is considerably less than the product of volts and amps, or volt-amperes.
