Subject: expanson tank nipple broken
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi, I have an 831/2 water-cooled westy, the coolant line that runs from the expansion tank to the little overflow tank is always coming loose from its connection at the expansion tank and spraying coolant. I assume there was originally a nipple or extended piece of platic pipe leading off the expansion tank where the hose connects but now I only have maybe a 1/4 inch to clamp onto.

Is there any kind of magical mystery potion: epoxy ,coolant hose sealant etc. that would hold up to the temp and stress of this location, or does anyone know where i might locate a used tank and if so what years/models will interchange with 831/2 westy's?

Any ideas welcome ,Thanks
