I second the 3/4" breaker bar suggestion. I broke my Dad's 1/2" breaker bar trying to remove a lug nut.

Lemme say this about that. The REAL macho dudes who have shiny black studs at their disposal get a 3/4" breaker bar and a 19.09 mm Impact Socket to do the nut wenching deed. Cheap and it can be used as a self defence item in those seamy sections of town...where even the squlls carry.

Harbor Freight has em, SnappyTool has em, Matco has em, Craftsman has em...lots to choose from.
