I think lowering a vanagon would be sweet, however, to do it properly, it would involve some cost. Goodness, if I had the money, and another vanagon, I'd be tempted to throw the hydraulics in it (like a lowrider), and then perhaps cut a portion of the top off and lower the roof.....all new glass, etc, etc.....it would be quite a job.

If you do find some springs that would lower that baby though, I think you would just have to be that much more careful about where you went in 'er and how you drove 'er.....that motor sits fairly low as it is, exhaust included. It would be easy to rip that exhaust off. But whatever, just be careful...make sure the rest of your front end is in good condition, especially the front axle beam...hell ya, lower it, I think it would look cool. Of course you need new 15" rims, low profile tires, oversized brake kit for sure with nicely painted calipers!! That would look pretty phat. :+)
