Subject: repairing crevice corrosion at panel joints - 87 westy
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello

I've developed numerous areas of crevice rust along panel joints especially the joint on the lower driver side horizontally between the wheels It looks like they (vw) used some filler at these joints. Am considring using the edge of a disc and digging in there. It's grey in color. Any suggestions on rust rremoval and paint preperation? Any suggestions on getting a matching paint color and finish? Overall the paint is excellent. Would like to keep it that way. Thanks in advance to any replies. The list has been an absolutely wonderful resource for me and my part time home.

Mike Kozak 87 Westy
