Jeff,

Is the '92 GL you want to put it in, a golf or jetta? Or passat? I'm only asking because the passat transaxles (automatic or std.) are really animals of their own...their shift linkage is on top of the tranny with a very different cable drive set up. So, if you're trying to put it in anything other than another passat or generation III's I don't see how it could work...The automatic portion of the passat tranny however, will mate to a Eurovan automatic differential. Worked pretty slick, though I've only done it once in a pinch. Hopefully that helped---Jon ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeffrey Schwaia" <jeff@TSSGI.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2003 4:31 PM Subject: NVC - Passat Question
