We sell a set of 4 lowered springs for $360 with listmember discount (our part #9878). These will lower your van to about the height of a late model Wolfsburg Edition (that is, a bit squatter than a typical Vanagon or Westy, but not a "curb hugger"). They are neither as low nor as stiff as the H&R springs, although they are slightly stiffer than the stock ones so they'll improve handling slightly. We are the only ones in the U.S. with these particular springs, as they are made in Europe to our specs. I have a set on my '89 Westy and I really like the look and the handling. I personally would not want springs any lower, or any stiffer, than them; they're a pretty good compromise between the stock springs and a stiff low spring like the H&R. They also dramatically reduced (but did not 100% eliminate) the infamous Westy "kitchen lean" where the left side of the van sits slightly lower than the right. The left-to-right difference now is small enough that you don't notice it when looking at the van, although a measuring tape still does show a slight difference. (One note: these will not fit Syncros.)
