The suspension on my 1983 Vanagon really creaks too.  How can I solve this annoying squeaking sound?  It only appears to squeak after I've been driving it for a while.  I have the van up on jack stand now since I had to pull the engine, so it would be a good time to check on this problem.


BTW, I'm about to order an 1.9L engine from AVP Worldwide, which is in Sacramento, which is driving distance from my house.  Are these people any good?
