Subject: bay area engine stand for loan?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I'm getting ready to split my case this weekend, and will consequently start the rebuilding process not too long after that. An engine stand would be a welcome aid to this procedure.

Do any of your VW kids out there in the california bay area have an engine stand that you aren't using any time soon to loan out (maybe for a 6 or 12 pack of your preferred beer)? Of course, i'll come to you and pick it up. I know, i should get one myself, but i'll likely be moving soon, and i don't want another hugely cumbersome thing to haul around...

Thanks, and have a wonderful weekend.

-Damon
