Wouldn't it be cool if that thing were really just a relay!

Too bad it is a 200 dollar mini-ECU PN 251 907 393 D.

Generally you will have better luck locating parts, if you supply the Part Number... Then even if your description of the thing is way off, you will still all be talking about the same part.
