I believe the fan starts up when the temperature hits 126 F.

Also, whenever I remove the fridge from my Westy, I always put a fresh dab of thermally conductive compound on the two halves of the switch. This conductive compound comes in a tube and is available from electronics supply stores. Kinda pricey though...about $8 for a 2 ounce tube...but when it comes to Westies, money is no object, right?

As far as starting up the fridge on propane mode, I've resorted to using a foot pump and an length of tubing to pump volumes of fresh air into the combustion chamber via the drain tube, as I press the igniter button. This procedure works every time for me...no more "warming up" the fridge on AC overnight.

| Second question... | The temp switch for the fan... what temperature is it supposed | to turn on at? I'd like to test it and/or replace it while the fridge | is out. If I knew what temp it was, I'd just pick up a new one | while I'm out tomorrow. Anyone know?
