82 vanagon available East TN. What should I do with this 82 bus in east TN? I bought it for a grocery getter but the engine was a disaster and have never driven or titled it. It is a straight 82 with only a couple of small dings on the body. I never have done anything with it. It just sits in the driveway, and I need to have it gone. It has been sitting so long that the tires are flat. I think this bus had engine problems early on and just got passed around. Everyone just was getting fed up with the thing. The odometer shows around 80,000. This thing has been sitting for years. I joined this list several years ago to hope that someone would need an 82 body, but never read the perfect post: "I have good engine but a crashed/ crusty rusty body". Anyway, it is really too good to part out, but may have no other options to get rid of the thing. The middle seat is one of those two passenger things, but the cover is in rough condition. Long story short: Good body, no engine, no FI. Needs a home, or offers for parts. Ric Jablonski Roan Mountain, TN Where's Teddy? |
