i have one too, theyre flimsy and dont hold anything other than a coke can (wouldnt trust em with anything taller than that, you do a power stop and your windshield will be wearing the contents of your beverage container) but they WERE the only VW vanagon OEM dash cupholder made, and sold as an acessory at the dealer in the early 80's.. :<) i ended up screwing it to the ashtray lid cuz the velcro didnt cut hold it in place.. chris
