Hey Jeff, Im not sure what you mean by torqued properly we inserted the piston and put the cover back on with new o rings. The piston was in its proper seating. As far as the valve body goes i soaked it diesel over night and cleaned it out with compressed air, repeating this process with generous amounts of brake cleaner(4 cans) untill only cleaner came out it during spraying. I decided to not separate the component as my father in law is a chiken shit about such things. The knocking is more troublesome, the high end pressure sensor was grounded to the distributor and the buzzer goes off frequently. I hope to find that its in the tranny just cause im not financially prepared to rebuild the engine. Any how i want to thatnk you for all of your responses but im not sure why i was told by someone to rremove the govenor before installing the torque converter? Is someone pulling my chain? Raul
