What pictures? Did I miss something? As for your 1991 GL, if you are referring to a vanagon, it's a T3. The splitwindshield vans were Type 2 T1's, the baywindow or loaf vans are Type 2 T2's, the Vanagons (as the are called in the US) including the pick-ups are Type 2 T3's, the Eurovans (as the are called in the US) are Type 2 T4's (as they are called everywhere else), and the most recent version of the van formula, the T5.

VW confuses things further by putting Type 4 power in the later years of the loaf vans. Later derivatives of the same engine powered the early air-cooled T3's. IN the UK, the also call T3's T25's.
