Steve, be sure to pull the fill plug before you pull the drain plug. That lets it drain good as well as ensures that you can re-fill it once you drain it. Logical, but it can cause grief if you forget.

Also, if you have a problem with a wrench fitting into the space to pull that drain plug, try the old 17 mm bolt trick. Needed is one short bolt with 17 mm head and two nuts to fit the threaded shaft. Jamb the two nuts on the shaft, insert the bolt head into the plug, and use a BOX-END wrench to turn the drain plug out. Worked for me, and was a cheap substitute for a wrench I didn't have and would have had to go out and buy.

BTW, Bentley calls for 14 ft/lbs of torque on those plugs. I couldn't get a wrench in there to torque anything, so the bolt, the nuts, and the box-end wrench, in conjunction with a calibrated wrist had to do the job. When the wrist clicked, it was done. :-)
