Subject:      A/T wont drive in 3rd.Assistance PLEASE...

Hey there i just recently did alot of engine work and tranny seal
replacements.  But now the trans only works when i place the selector lever
in 1st or secont not in drive. but i cant tell if its just that 3rd is not
engaging(anyone even been through this?) it seems to go through 1st and 2nd
then its goes to third but slips greatly!  Any gurus out there with the
magic tip?
