I'm back from my trip to Vancouver if anyone needs me. Really nice trip across Canada on the Via Rail Train. Three days rock-n-roll and stop & go there & three days back. Nice dome car to look out at the lakes, trees & mountains. Beer only allowed in your regular seat position. Pretty funny ! You gotta go to the dome car snack bar, order it then the porter brings it to your seat. Pretty funny ! Guess their afraid the trippers might get outta control and take over the train ! Woohoo ! Well, more to the point of Vanagons. The're all on Vancouver Island that's why everyone's looking for them. I saw more Vanagons & Vanagon Westy there than any place I've ever been and that includes those big Quebec club camping events that normally bring out 300 ~ 400 Westys. Lots of buses & Eurovans too ! Unfortunately, I did not to get to meet anyone from the List or any other Westy owners. Rita & April outvoted me on renting a Westy to trip around so we ended up with a low life Cavalier so drove around incognito. Too much stuff to see and do and too little time left us with choices which left out VW camper communions ! BooHoo ! So......now back home and work on Vanagons again seems like a world away but here I am and a motor in a double cab awaits removal to find why it's billowing blue smoke. Off to the garage and wrenches again and rounding up plans for BusFusion 2003.

Cheers
