Subject:      NVC question about general fuel system parts

Hi All, I work for a convenience store corporate office, one of stores had a problem with a customer complaining that there was water in the gas and now they want us to pay their car bills. There are a few things that aren't adding up, and I figured some of you guys might be able to confirm or disapprove my theorys.......


First of all the car in question is a 93' Chrysler Concord....although these questions are pretty general........


Upon looking at the bills from the repair shop, the 1st one is Feb 24 says that upon finding contaminated fuel they drained fuel system, replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, added dry gas, new fuel.......Now if I'm not mistaken, spark plugs aren't a fuel system problem correct?


2nd bill is March 6th, way later, and the checked for running problem, replaced the fuel injector and Intake Gasket. Now again I don't think a intake gasket is a fuel system componant , again I could be wrong.


If someone can let me know I'd appreciate it,
