Well, let me explain my position again:

I have the Bentley. I'm looking for something that will give a bit more explanation of some of the procedures, and make fewer assumptions about VW-only tools. I'm thinking of getting the '80 to '83 Haynes, which won't cover my engine but will cover the other stuff. I'm wondering if the Pocket Mechanic manual would be a better choice. For that matter, something along the lines of the 'How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive' manual I had for my '75 bus would be great, but I'm guessing one like that was never published for the Vanagons.
