This seems to be a popular topic lately. My '87 GL is now my daily driver, and after being in the shop for almost two weeks, I picked it up and it is still bucking and stalling. The shop replaced the ISV and Idle control module, so at least now the idle is great. (It wasn't before...) However, they supposedly could not replicate the bucking and stalling problem. On the way to work, it happened again. This is getting critical, because if I can't fix this the van will have to go bye-bye because there is no way I can have a stalling/bucking vehicle in L.A. traffic. We (my wife, my children, and I,) would get killed here because other drivers are aggressive and would plow into us if we stalled in an intersection or on the freeway...) I have replaced the following: New plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, temp II sensor, fuel filter, AFM (remanufactured), ICV, IC module, O2 sensor, ground straps (tranny and engine). What else should I do? Any help is greatly appreciated.
