> > NO PROBLEM, how do I get the old one off? > > . Jason, Depending on your CV bolts, you'll need a 6mm hex or 12 point driver. You'll also need a socket set with either wobbler extenders or universal joint to get into tight spots. Spray the bolts with some kind of cleaner to get the grit out. Lift the van up on that side and put up on jack stands. Then rotate the wheel so that you line up the first bolt on the outside. Bottom position is best. Secure the wheel. As you can see, this process is best with a buddy/spouse you can help rotate and then stop the wheel. Take out the bolts one by one on the outside (wheel side), then rest the outside CV in the unibody frame. Then work on the inside (tranny side). Watch the last bolt so that the thing doesn't fall on your head. That's it. The new one goes back in the reverse of getting the old one of. The hard part is getting the first few bolts threaded in and holding. Hope this helps. -Karl |
