Entity Pernice, Vincent spoke thus: > How did you attach > it to the rain gutters / roof? I use pieces of 1/2 inch inside PVC pipe cut to 4" long segments. I put my ripstop nylon in the gutter and the pipe needs to be forced in there firmly so the tubes expand in the gutter. It holds real well except in strong winds, then the tubes pop out without ripping anything. There are 2 ways to fold the material, but OVER the tube seems to work better in wind. Can be a little challenge to remove, but I keep a wood dowel to insert into the tubes and pry out of the gutter. For very strong winds I might invent a slotted tube with an wedge dowel to expand the tube inside the gutter channel. -- Rachel |
