Posted this for sale a bit ago but couldn't take pics until now. Let's try it again... For Sale: 1982 Diesel Vanagon L (7 passenger) The good: - cream over yellow paint that still shines brightly - 131,203 miles - body in GREAT shape. One slight dent in passenger rear wheel arch. There's a little surface rust at the pedals, but that's it. Was a CA van until 3yrs ago, garaged or covered since. - Approx. 30k on rebuilt 1.6NA engine. - PO replaced battery, glow plugs, and timing belt - current inspection + everything works The bad: - rear main seal failed and it needs a new one + a clutch - rear hatch lock doesn't want to open today. Strange... - Tires are TOYO and are in good shape, but are not reinforced - PO removed rear seats, carpet and hatch panel. Padding is still there. I removed the rest of the panels and carpet to clean it. I'll reinstall them for the new owner. - Front seats ARE NOT included. I have the original brawn vinyl seats to go in it and they're in perfect shape (I just hate them). The seats pictured are for sale separately. Van is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia and will need to be towed or the main seal replaced before moving. Open to trades (buggy in like condition, preferably). Asking best offer over $1000. Pics available online at http://homepage.mac.com/jrunberg Click on IMAGES and then on the names. Can take and send any pics now that you'd like to see. Thanks, john |
