Mike,
Here're a few:
Ken Wilford of Vanagain is on the list. His prices are competitive plus he
is one of the few vendors who'll double-check with you on what you're doing
(if you call him) and recommend any ancilliary parts that you'll need but
perhaps didn't think of.

Check out Ken Wilford's new parts search engine at:
http://www.vanagain.com/search.asp
That new search engine makes a world of difference in finding parts at Ken's
site.
Ron Salmon at The Bus Depot is also on the list and often has better prices
on certain things than most other vendors. They also offer a discount for
internet orders (or is that Vanagon list members?). I think he and his
people need to work on their packing skills a bit though. They're great at
reducing stuff that goes into the waste stream, but sometimes I've wished
that things were packed just a bit better.

Ben McCafferty is also on the list and works for VolksCafe. They have one
of the best web sites for finding things. Check them out at:
http://volkscafe.com/
There are a number of volks that have some more specialized stuff, such as
accessories for your Vanagon. Check out Dave Marshall's Fast Forward
Automotive at:
http://www.fastforward.ca/
For skylights, you could go to Bus Depot or to The Skylight Guy at:
http://www.theskylightguy.com/
Be sure to use IE rather than Netscape 4.xx if you go to this site.
There are a number of others that have specialized stuff like:
AA Transaxle:
http://www.aatransaxle.com/
Bob Donalds' Boston Engine:
http://www.bostonengine.com/home.html
Camper stuff:
EuroCampers:
http://www.eurocampers.com/
For locks and keys for your Vanagon, see list-member Steve Sandlin (awesome
service, BTW!):
http://www.steveslockshop.com/
I know I've left out a lot and I don't mean to offend anybody on the list
(or off) by doing so. This was just a quick listing of a number of sites
that I've found useful in the recent past. You can also get a listing of
vendors that are on the Vanagon list at the Vanagon web site at:
http://www.vanagon.com/
If you ever find that you have specialized needs that don't seem to be
addressed by any of the above vendors or the ones on the vanagon web site,
ask the list. I'm sure that someone here would be more than happy to tell
you where to go! :^)
