Subject: Which radiator
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

HI All; I noticed some coolant loss and upon further examination, found the fins on the bottom of my radiator, hose side, flaking away and releasing fluid. What a bummer, but I have a used one. Oh no, upon inspection, it is flaky along the bottom also. Don't want to do this job twice, so I guess I gotta bite the bullet and buy one. I found a variety of radiators. German ones for about $240.-$250., VW of South Africa ones for $180.-$195., Nissan (apparently of Denmark origin) for $195. and something called a ML-3 design from AKG (?). Anyone know what the differences are? Do some of these have aluminum cores? What about a recore/repair job (just thought of that one). Anyone ever had one done they were happy with? I have to do something soon, cause it's my daily driver, so any input would be helpful. Any information on who gives list discounts would be helpful too!
