I finally got the heads removed on the '80 westy...... What a pain to get down to them(did it with the engine still in situ...after all you wasserboxer guys do it that way.....) I removed the left with no visable damage (had 60# in #3) ...but when removing the right bank......WOW!!!! The intake valve has NO seat at all!....and no apparent damage to the head, cylinder, bore etc!!!!! amazing! as if the material of the seat just disintegrated..

I guess I'll be dropping them off at a local machine-shop to be looked at and repaired....so if anything should be looked at or done, let me know.
