Check your blood pressure .......... oops Oil Pressure at various RPMs and Temperature ranges before you jump, run naked into the fires of rebuilds. That knock could be loose torque converter, loose flex plate, broken flex plate. That 35$ Oil pressure gauge is something you're going to want if you get a new engine so it isn't money burned by buying it now.
