Thanks all for the info thus far...I think it's just about making sense! Couple questions:

Shouldn't this wire be connected to the 2nd battery? Then, connect desired aux items directly to 2nd battery (or splice into red/blue wire), yes?

Lastly, it's my understanding that the Hella Kit relay has a built-in fuse. Is that the only fuse necessary? I assume that I should add a fuse between the aux battery and items it powers?
