Derrek...Welcome to the list!! Lot's of good folk here along with two or three curmudgeons, but you will find it is not boring.

About your engine....Boston Engine ( Bob Donalds) is a good choice for a rebuilt engine. One of the best.

But what on earth makes you think low oil pressure on a rebuilt engine is the norm??? If anything, because all the fits and clearances are brought back into spec, you will have the best oil pressure ever. Yes, you will have some wearing in of components as they seat, but that occurs on such a microscopic level as to be non-observable. Just curious about your line of thought.
