Fred sed: "Unreliable? How can you say this? Most of all the wasserboxers machines I have seen all have big miles to them."

I'm with 'Fred' on this one. I was elated when my 73 Maverick rolled 100,000 miles. It then promptly died of rust-out (only 12 years old!). Other cars died with less miles, some a few more. But my Vanagon has 270,000 miles on it, it's 18 years old, and still a great vehicle. My primary vehicle, too.

The upholstery is still in good shape also, with no glue stains.
