Back in my college days (pre-historic past almost) we studied magnetism,
magnets and magnet composition. As I recall the stongest magnets were
alloys, and at the time the AlNiCo magnets were the strongest known. And
they were strong. Once set you could hardly budge them.

AlNiCo is Aluminum, Nickel, and Cobalt. Don't remember what else was in
them.
