Gas gauge problem: sounds like the fuel sender unit. To check, pivot fuel tank down (2 bolts I think) to get to sender unit connector -on driver's side top of fuel tank rearward.(not sure if you can get to connector without dropping fuel tank) Take off the connector, turn on power , fuel gauge will read empty.Take a piece of wire and short connector to ground (or van), fuel gauge will read full (off scale). If fuel gauge does, the problem is the sender unit. Hope this helps Gerry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Romano" <vwtelledanoromano@YAHOO.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Saturday, March 22, 2003 6:24 PM Subject: The problems with my van
