I did it on my Fiat Spider. I called the manufacturer and they told me that POR-15 will accept most primers as long as they are applied while the POR-15 is still tacky. Once it has fully dried, you can only paint over with topcoat. On my Spider the POR-15 seemed to accept the primer fine according to these directions. (It has been about 6 months so I can't speak for longevity, but no reason to suspect otherwise.) Incidentally, for those who aren't aware, The Bus Depot does sell POR-15. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT |
