I one thing that has not been said yet is that the Germans designs and production need and require maintenance. Americans do not do preventive maintenance. Most of our vehicles have been neglected by past owners and now we are paying the price. How many times someone on the list is looking for a cheap fix? I will include myself on the cheap fix category. It would be nice to know if any one has owned a vanagon new how they feel about their purchase then and 15+ years later. If you want dependable buy Japanese. The reason i have mine is that it is cool and meets my needs for a vehicle( but really it's cool ! ) ; ) Jim Morgan 86GL "Breadbox" 205,000.0 Westlake,Ohio |
