Hi,
will an engine stand for an air-cooled VW engine fit onto a waterboxer?
 I see a lot of VW engine stands out there that say there are
specifically made for VW air-cooled engines, but I can't find any that
are made specifically for vanagon engines.


What should I buy?


to help people understand what I'm talking about, I put some pictures here:

choice 1: VW floor standing with that U mount that should bolt on to the
case, but does it fit a 1.9L
choice 2: Bench mount with that U.
choice 3: supposedly universal 4 arm swivel mount that I can walk into
Kragen and buy.  don't particularly like Kragen, but it's close.
