Older Vanagons have more problems, ----------------- Clip ------------------------ Here we go again! Older Vanagons are Air Cooled and have fewer problems. They have considerably fewer parts and are more archaic in design. Start counting the things a WB has that an air cooled van doesn't and you'll get the picture rather quickly. There are many problems common to both but those are mostly related to neglect, abuse or just wear out.
