but that I'd be better off going to Whiteheads, a local VW garage that does a lot of Vanagon work. ----------------------- Clip ---------------------- I get the same response from my local VW dealers. If you can't generate a $100.00 order they're not interested in adding it to their next incoming order. On the few things I've bought from them I suspect they had an up-charge on the parts but not knowing VW parts prices it is difficult to tell. How about $118.00 for two lifters. How about $17.00 for the spring under the distributor.
